Australia and Vietnam are celebrating the 50th anniversary of our diplomatic relationship this year. It is an opportunity not only to reflect on our achievements over the past five decades, but to look to the future of our ever-deepening friendship and partnership. The slogan for the year is People, Partnership, Prosperity.
Throughout the year we are focussing on all aspects of Australia-Vietnam relations – from education, agriculture, trade and investment and tourism to climate cooperation, skills, innovation and equality. The 50th will demonstrate the strength of our relationship and highlight new and emerging areas of cooperation and collaboration as we celebrate our shared passions and our cultures.
