Walking Through a Songline Public exhibition Walking Through a Songline is a multi-sensory digital installation in which visitors can immerse themselves in ancient Aboriginal Australian knowledge communicated through new technology. The exhibition is produced by the National Museum of Australia in partnership with Mosster Studio. The touring exhibition is presented in partnership with the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and came to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi as part of the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations celebrations. We also displayed the Canning Stock Route artworks alongside. Alumni Symposium Events By registration Full day events involving keynote presentations and concurrent sessions. The first of the alumni symposium events was held in HCMC and included the announcement of the Alumni award winners by the Ambassador and VAFA President. The second was held in Danang in June and the final one will be in Hanoi in September. Find out more here.

Taste of Australia - Ho Chi Minh City Various Taste of Australia is an annual program in Vietnam to promote Australia's food, beverages and culture. In Ho Chi Minh City we organised a Gala event at Reuinification Palace, gourmet bus tours and restuarant promotions. These ran alongside retail events organised by Austrade. Children's screenings: Bluey Free public screenings Bluey is Australia’s most popular children’s television show. It is an animated series about a family of Aussie blue heelers dogs, produced by Brisbane-based Ludo Studio for ABC Kids and is co-commissioned by ABC Children’s and BBC Studios. RMIT here/there project We are supporting a program, managed by RMIT, that aims to develop long term collaboration between craftspeople and designers in Australian and Vietnam. International collaborations will result in co-created arifacts and digital resources connecting the Australian and Vietnamese craft sectors. The project includes residences in Australia, connecting with Melbourne Fashion Week (August/September), and an exhibition as part of Vietnam Festival of Creativity and Design (November).
