The Australian Embassy was pleased to work with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation to share social media skills and experiences in broadcast journalism with leaders and journalists from Vietnam's national broadcasting organisation VTV, VOVTV, VTC, VNATV, Hanoi TV and HCMC TV.
Over 30 people joined the ‘Development of Social Media Skills in Broadcast Media’ training, facilitated by Scott Gamble, Manager of Social Media Strategy at the ABC. Covering strategy, an in-depth look at the platforms and how to gather and verify content, the course equipped the participants with new skills and knowledge that will enable them to better tap into social media resources as well as better respond to its challenges.
The training took place in Hanoi from 16-18 September 2019 with the support of the Australian Embassy, ABC and VTV.
