Australia showcasing excellence and exploring partnerships of school sector in Vietnam
Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) is partnering with the Department of Education and Training of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city to organize the “Australia-Vietnam School Partnership Showcase 2018”, offering a platform for Australian and Vietnamese education authorities and schools to exchange expertise and build partnerships.
The event, to be held in Hanoi on 28 November and in HCMC on 30 November, aims to showcase Australian capabilities in school education. In particular, the event offers a platform for Australian and Vietnamese education authorities and schools to seek collaboration opportunities through a series of activities including policy dialogue, seminars, business matching, site visits and media exposure on national television.
Leading Australian education authorities and schools representing States and Territories will participate in the event. Well recognised for excellent education quality and distinguished advantages of the States and Territories model, Australia is one of the most desired destinations for international education. Australian curriculum are internationally renowned, schools are well known for highly qualified teachers and school managers, employability prospects, modern learning facilities and a strong focus on digital technology and 21st century skills.
Australian and Vietnamese education authorities and schools are expected to leverage the quality of Australian education capabilities through exisiting partnership and potential collaboration oppoprtunities. Australia is ready to contribute in helping Vietnam address the increasing demand for higher school quality, innovative curriculum, skill and employability outcomes of Vietnamese graudates.
The “Australia-Vietnam School Partnership Showcase 2018” is expected to tighten the existing partnerships, open new collaboration opportunities for participating organisations from both countries.
