Australia Future Unlimited: Education Roadshow Vietnam 2013
More than 50 Australian universities, vocational colleges and schools will visit Vietnam from 9-10 November 2013. They will travel to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to meet with students and parents who are interested in pursuing an international education in Australia and to participate in a range of other activities including public seminars and meetings with Vietnamese institutions. There are more than 22,000 Vietnamese students studying in Australia currently and Vietnamese students were the fourth largest group who chose to study in Australia. .
Now in its 10th year, this annual event is the only education roadshow in Vietnam organised by the Australian Government. The event allows Vietnamese students and parents to engage with and explore the quality and innovation of an Australian Education.
Mr. Hugh Borrowman, Australia’s Ambassador to Vietnam will welcome the group and open the exhibition in Hanoi on 9 November. “I am delighted that over 50 of Australian education institutions will visit Vietnam for the Australia Future Unlimited Education Roadshow. This is a very special year as Australia and Vietnam are celebrating their 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations and arguably education is the longest standing link and a cornerstone in this bilateral relationship.”
Australia remains one of the most attractive study destinations for Vietnamese students not only for its strong international reputation for excellence in education and research, but also for its reputation as a safe, multicultural and friendly place to live and study. Australia offers a wide educational choice to international students who want to develop their careers as global citizens. Qualifications provided by Australian education providers (ranging from schools to vocational colleges and universities) are highly regarded and internationally recognised.
By attending the Education Roadshow Vietnam 2013, students and parents will have the opportunity to talk directly with representatives from Australian institutions to gain first-hand information about courses, studying and living costs and conditions and the general application process. Apart from face-to-face meetings with Australian institution representatives, interested students and parents are invited to join a series of seminars that provide comprehensive and practical information on Studying and Living in Australia, Employment Trends for Vietnamese graduates from Australia, Government Scholarship programs and Student Visa application procedures.
